Certificate of Orthodox Christian Studies
Students who complete four of the courses provided by the London School of Orthodox Christian Studies are now eligible for the award of the Certificate of Orthodox Christian Studies. This is a non-accredited award of the London School, offered in recognition of the continuing effort required to complete the required number of courses to a satisfactory standard.
All students are automatically eligible for this Certificate.
Three courses are now available for registration
There are now three courses from the London School of Orthodox Christian Studies which are open for registration. The Orthodox Christology course is underway, and students can register and study at their own pace. The Orthodox Church History course is receiving registrations and will begin studies on the 1st April. While the Orthodox Monasticism course is receiving registrations and will begin studies on the 15th April.
Each of these courses is ideal for students who are unable to spend time in a Seminary, or other residential educational facility. The study material is all included in the course fee and is available online. Each course costs only £125 for UK students and £135 for International students.
Second course now available for registration
A second course is now accepting registrations. The Church History course provides students with a grasp of the general outline of Church History over the first twelve centuries, while also considering in some detail the history of several of the local Orthodox Churches.
Learning materials for this second course will be made available from Monday 1st April, but registration is now open. Registering students will receive their login details on 1st April.
First course now available
The first course is now available for registration and studies have begun.
Students can register and study at any time. Now that the course has been launched registrations are accepted continuously, and students are able to use the course materials to study at their own pace.
The first course is an Introduction to Orthodox Christology.
